Coal Mountain Resort

It's love month and this is my first trip this year. Don't you just love taking a dip in this heart-shaped pool? *wink*

This is a trip that I badly needed after being stressed from the examination and from disappointment *sigh* anyhow life must go on and though I don't have any backup plan aside from applying that visa, I need to get myself together ~ aanndd ~ this kind of break would help me think on what should I do now *rofl* and I am just actually making a very very lame excuse hahahaha

So much for the drama *wink* Coal mountain resort is situated in barangay Linut-od, Argao and owned by the town mayor. It is a nature resort that the main attraction is the underground tunnel tour and experience being a coal miner. However, we made a stop over at Argao's plaza.

Things - To - Note

~ From Cebu South Bus terminal to Argao Proper it's a 2 - 3 hours drive, fare is Php 83 (non-aircon).

~ Going to the resort, you ride a habal-habal, the fare is Php 120/pax (one-way) and it would take you an hour to reach the place. Prepare yourself for a long, bumpy and rocky ride.

~ Entrance fee: 100 inclusions: life jacket, canopy walk, mini - zoo and you choose one pool.

~ There are three pools: kiddie pool (4 ft.), adult pool (7 ft), adult pool (16 ft) and in this pool you can dive.

~ The water is ice-cold because it comes directly from the springs of the mountain.

~ On the time we visited the tunnel is temporarily close for maintenance check and the rate is Php 80 with overall mining gear.

When I arrived at the resort, the first thing I noticed was the heart-shaped pool and the cool breeze! definitely it would be colder at night, overnight stay is highly-recommend too. The resort is also perfect to reflect or seek answers to their longtime questions, just like my dear friend *smiles*

Here's a video about our Coal Mountain resort trip. Enjoy!
