Blog Challenge #24

Day | 24 Write about the worse injury you've had.

This is supposed to be a secret, I've kept this for three years now. Hahaha I just hope that my parents won't read this blog ever! *fingers crossed*

I got this injury way back 2013. We had an unplanned trip, I'm with my former colleagues on that time. After our shift (around midnight), I went back to our house to pack things and never asked permission to my mom, who was sleeping on that time. I just told her about the trip thru text. I never thought that it was an overnight trip and my mom was very angry because I told her I'll be back on that afternoon.

So, I had so much fun but have you ever have that feeling that you don't want to feel so happy or you don't want to laugh so hard because something bad will happen? I always have that feeling that's why most of the time I control my happiness.

Going back to the story, the next morning, we decided to try the ATV and I feel like I can drive it faster. On our way back, I push the acceleration button and thought that it was a plain area I never knew that it was a slope and the next thing I knew the ATV was above me, I have a bruise in the middle of my rib cage which caused me to have a hard time breathing, wounds on my arms and legs. On that incident, I just remembered that I shouted for help though they gave me first aid but still the bruise stayed for a few more weeks.

I thought that would be my end. I acted normal but I don't talk much after that. Every night I always brought a hot bottle to my room and it is to compress the bruise. My mom was suspicious and I can't afford to tell her the truth (patay ako, as in sobrang patay talaga) I just told her that I had a dysmenorrhea Hahahaha (what a very lame excuse!)

Now, I'm okay. Don't worry *wink*

Moral Lesson: Always ask permission to your parents before going on a trip.
