Summer Adventure: Kandungaw Peak

OMG! 2018 is almost over and I got a lot of pending posts *rolling on the floor crying* *cries in disappointment* I am so sorry guys! I know I should have posted this on time but you already know the greatest hindrance of all ~ ~ PROCRASTINATION ~ ~ I am totally guilty beyond reasonable doubt HAHAHAHA

I will just make this post short due to the following and unforgivable reason *cries*:
1. I forgot the exact detail on what really happened this day.
2. I can't give you an exact information about this place.
3. I still have another pending post to do

Since it's Christmas, I hope that you will forgive me *puppy eyes*

I don't exactly remember when did we go there but I remember that I was so damn, freaking stressed at work and I needed a break. My brother and I decided to do mountain climbing after my shift! Oh great! This is one big bad decision I've ever made in my entire life! Hahahaha Why? because I just came from a graveyard shift! Therefore, I got no time to sleep (there are just times in your life that you know that you are so stupid)

So, anyway I had a two-hour sleep in the bus. I thought it was enough because the mountain that we are about to climb is just for beginners, so I thought that it would just be easy. Guess what? I was TOTALLY WRONG!!! I almost fainted! Luckily, it was not too hot and I got some help from my dear bro and from our little guide.

YEY!!! I survived the trek. I would still recommend this place. Such a beaut at the top! Though, please don't do the same thing I did. There is just something in the mountain that would make you feel serene. I wish I could climb this mountain again next time and this time I got a lot of energy.

What to do after a very exhausting trek? Well, taking a dip in a cold spring! I suggest you go to Obong Spring *winks*

WHAT I LIKE:

* If you needed a quick break from the nuisance of the work or school life and you wanted to try an adventure this is perfect for you!

* The mountain is good for beginners.

* If your a fan of fog (like me) hahaha, I suggest you go there early maybe before 6 AM.

REMINDERS:

* Before you climb, you have to register first.

* Do stretching. You will be welcomed by more than 200 man-made concrete stairs. Get your legs ready!!

* Bring a cap, snacks, foods and of course water!!

* Don't focus too much on the trail. Take a look of the beauty of God's creation.

* You can do camping but please be a responsible camper.

* Bring your trash when you go down.

SHORT INFO:

* The mountain is located at Brgy. Maloray, Dalaguete.

* This may not be updated info, better check other blog post. Motorcycle from the Hi-way to Kandungaw is 150/person.

* You can do caving, on the time of our visit it's a bit slippery and they don't recommend that we do it.
