2018: Lessons and Realizations

As we write the first blank page of our life, allow me to share my 2018's lessons and realizations. 2018 was quite a ride, it torn me emotionally, physically, spiritually and financially but despite these I had a productive year (not referring to the blog posts, okay? Hahaha) Let's talk about each aspect of my life what happened and its lessons and the realizations I had. LOVE The topic that everyone loves, the topic that gives us both happiness and pain. You might be wondering if this is still about my ex, well, yes, partly, it does. I could still remember that I made a promise that 2018 will be more on self-love. But life had another plan, I met the person that I liked even before my ex. We had a short romance. It was quite funny though. I called him my Sinulog Love because it all happened last Sinulog. No worries no strings attached, okay?  When our short-lived romance ended, it was painful. I am not sure why, maybe because together with its end was also our frien...

Weekend Treat: Guimaras

Finally after 5 loooooonnngggg months! I'm gonna post this. I know this is a long overdue post *sigh* and I hope you understand *smile*. This was supposed to be a BIG travel ~ BIG stands for Bacolod > Ilo Ilo > Guimaras Escapade however, due to some circumstances we only managed to visit tourist spots in Guimaras. Though, technically we've been to the three islands *winks*. ILO-ILO Ilo-Ilo was our first stop, since my dear friend here, Gea needed to get a passport and she only got a slot in Ilo-Ilo. It was quiet a very long trip, it took us 14 hours to reach Ilo-Ilo.  There are a lot of things to explore in Ilo-Ilo we just don't have enough time to explore it, plus the weather is not cooperating with us. It rained the whole day *sigh*. I wish I could visit Ilo-Ilo again because it really captured my heart. It was so peaceful even at night, we actually just walk from SM to our Guest Homey , our accommodation. Guest Homey is affordable for backpackers, ...

OMG! 2018 is almost over and I got a lot of pending posts *rolling on the floor crying* *cries in disappointment* I am so sorry guys! I know I should have posted this on time but you already know the greatest hindrance of all ~ ~ PROCRASTINATION ~ ~ I am totally guilty beyond reasonable doubt HAHAHAHA I will just make this post short due to the following and unforgivable reason *cries*: 1. I forgot the exact detail on what really happened this day. 2. I can't give you an exact information about this place. 3. I still have another pending post to do Since it's Christmas, I hope that you will forgive me *puppy eyes* I don't exactly remember when did we go there but I remember that I was so damn, freaking stressed at work and I needed a break. My brother and I decided to do mountain climbing after my shift! Oh great! This is one big bad decision I've ever made in my entire life! Hahahaha Why? because I just came from a graveyard shift! Therefore, I got no ti...

Hi there! How's life been treating you so far? I hope everything is doing fine. Let's start the month right! Hahahaha I know it's supposed to be posted on Sunday, however once I'm done with this blog it will be posted on the 1st of October. Time check it's already 11:53 PM *winks* I won't be able to finish it within 7 minutes *shocks* Today, I met my high school gal pals, as I've said before I only have a small circle of friends. It's been a year since we've seen each other, though technically it's the lady next to me. She worked in Dubai and if she had a chance she would always try to have a vacation here. Let me just share how we spent our lovely Sunday. First, we had some delightful Korean food at SOMAC. I would highly recommend it. Then, we watched Exes Baggage (I'll write a separate post about this movie *winks* *finger crossed* ). After that, our dear friend decided to show up hahahahaha and had a chitchat about our careers, lo...

Weekend Treat: Bacalla Woods Campsite

As they say "there is no wifi in the forest but you will find a better connection" and indeed it's true. You'll get a better connection with life and nature. Lately, work is getting on my nerves. I needed a breather. Most of the time, I would always prefer the beach but I also wanted to try something new. Something I haven't done in such a long time ~ and it's camping. But I want somewhere near from my home 'coz I wanna save time, energy and of course money. Hahaha. Ta-da! Bacalla Woods Campsite  is the answer. This campsite is located at Brgy. Ilaya, San Fernando, Cebu City. Known as "The Little Bali Indonesia of Cebu" because of its  infinity swing . Bacalla Woods Campsite touts itself as the home of the artists, environmentalists, explorers, extreme sports athletes, campers and all nature enthusiasts.  If you are looking for somewhere to disconnect, then this is the place for you. I would say it is not what I expected,...
